Human rights in our company

Taking responsibility and reporting deficiencies

Human rights are universally valid and build the foundation for a respectful, just and safe coexistence. As a company, we have a special responsibility to ensure that human rights are respected, promoted and protected

But what does this mean in concrete terms? Which rights are in focus and how can companies like Biohealth ensure that they are respected?

More than just a legal framework

Labor rights are an essential part of human rights. These include, among other things:

  • Fair working conditions: These include fair wages, regulated working hours and the right to a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Protection against discrimination: Everyone has the right to equal opportunities - regardless of gender, origin, religion or other personal characteristics.
  • Freedom of association and co-determination: Employees should be able to organize themselves and represent their interests.
  • Protection against exploitation and forced labor: Forced labor, child labor and any form of inhumane employment are unacceptable.

Companies that actively protect and promote these rights not only contribute to social justice, but also strengthen the corporate culture and the satisfaction of their employees. Safeguarding human rights within the company therefore means not only complying with legal requirements, but also actively ensuring a fair and sustainable working environment.

Our responsibility as a company

At Biohealth, we take our responsibility to respect human rights very seriously - both within our company and especially along our supply chains.

  • Overall corporate responsibility: We are committed to an appreciative, fair and safe working environment in which all employees can and should feel comfortable and develop.
  • Responsibility in the supply chain: We expect our partners and suppliers to comply with human rights standards and ensure fair working conditions.

Awareness-raising and education: We inform and train our employees on the topics of ethics, human rights and compliance in order to create awareness and establish a strong value base.

Whistleblower system: Working together for fairness and transparency

Despite all measures, violations of human rights standards in the company or ethical principles may occur - be it discrimination, corruption, violations of labor rights or other abuses.

We have therefore set up a whistleblower system. This system enables employees, business partners and third parties to draw attention to violations - securely, confidentially and anonymously if desired.

  • Why is this important?
A well-functioning whistleblower system helps to identify and rectify irregularities at an early stage. It strengthens the corporate culture, protects the individuals concerned and helps to avoid negative consequences for our company and our partners.
  • Who can report?
All employees, business partners and external persons have the opportunity to submit reports via the system.

How does it work?
Our whistleblower system is easy to use and guarantees protection for whistleblowers.

To the whistleblower system

Human rights in the company are teamwork!

Each and every individual at Biohealth can contribute to ensuring that our values not only exist on paper, but are also practiced in everyday working life. By paying attention, addressing grievances and finding solutions together, we make Biohealth an even stronger, fairer and more sustainable company.

Together for respect, fairness and transparency.
